4 Lists that I think are worth Reading. I am totally bookmarking them, especially the second one. I’d probably spend months exploring all the sites listed.
There’s one thing I learned in this Writing Project, title is everything.

According to Can’t get rich, you can’t.
That’s why he’s holding a contest up until the 1st of December to spread the word. All you have to do is blog about his contes, tell what you’re gonna do with the prize, link back to his blog using the anchor text “Can’t get rich” and then link back to his Can’t Get Rich : The Contest page using any anchor text you want. Then leave him a comment in said post with the link to your entry.
The prize? a $100 gift certificate to the Apple store! Dang. Too bad I don’t live in the U.S. I wonder if I’m qualified. Oh well. I’m still gonna write this post since I like talking about how I want a Macbook Pro and while a $100 gift certificate to the Apple store won’t really buy me one, it’s still fun to dream. I mean, I have never, ever, even owned anything from that company. DAH.
So why would I want a $100 gift certificate to the Apple store? Well, since a Macbook Pro really is out of the question, and I can’t pick an iPod nano since it’s $49 above the price, the only option is an iPod shuffle at $79.
And no, I don’t want a normal iPod shuffle. I want the red one… to support Apple to help fight AIDS in Africa. I’ll help them another time by improving my health to be able to study again then graduate and volunteer to work in Africa.
Is the iPod shuffle available in orange? I mean, Shinhwa’s official color is orange and uh, yeah. I want the orange one. Haha.
EDIT//
And yeah, have I mentioned how I have never ever owned a music player before? Not even a CD player. Or a damn cassette player! Pathetic. -___-

Know what egg donation is? I don’t.
So why don’t you head over to Guide to Egg Donation to know more about it? Not really the greatest when it comes to health and infertility but I’m guessing that egg donation is about donating one’s sperm to help couples without the capability to have children. Is that right?
Anyways, they’re giving away $50 right now if you write a blog about them and link back to their homepage with the anchor text “egg donation”. So… why not enter yourself?

I have listed below 5 things I think are not true as an entry to Litemind’s Lists Group Writing Project.
Do you believe in God? If you don’t, then please bear with me here and just read the first 3 entries in the list. But if you still want to read on to the end then I can’t do anything about that.
Also, I know that I have committed grammatical errors in this post but I’m not the best proofreader to know which ones they are.
Onto the list:
5 Things That I Believe To Be Lies
- Beauty is in the eye/s of the beholder. Beauty is not in the eye/s of the beholder. It is in the thing beheld. Everything that exists is already beautiful in its original state and is beautiful in its own way. It does not need you to look at it and say that it’s beautiful in your eyes and that even though it looks like a cat’s puke it still has its own beauty because it really is beautiful already without you looking at it and saying so.
- It is hard to Forgive and Forget. It is not hard to Forgive and Forget. It is impossible. Sure, some long time friend of yours wronged you and sure, after 3 years of fighting and backstabbing you finally made up but can you forget? Unless you can program your brain to erase it or you were suddenly hit by a truck and suffered from amnesia then yes, you can forgive and forget.
We can say “I forgive you” and not mention about it ever again but we can never forget.
- Every child undergoes a stage where they become “rebels” when they become teenagers. Really? I believe it’s the other way around. It’s the parents that undergoes a stage wherein they think that their child will rebel against them since he or she is now a teenager. They hear this from other parents with children who turned out to be bad fruits and immediately, they think that their own child will be the same. Sure, they try to “prevent” it but by doing so, they are just making the child even prone to become a real “rebel”.
Everyone grows up. And most kids outgrow the super affectionate hugs and the goodnight kisses but all these does not mean that they will turn into juveniles. Sure they will begin to like new things, get interested in stuff you never even heard about and you’ll feel like they’re drifting farther and farther from you but all these signs only means that they’re developing their own individuality. They can’t grow up into who you are or what you want them to be. Yes, you’ll influence them but they are their own person.
Parents are their child’s guidance; not future, personality, hobby and college course planner/picker.
- If you do everything that you are required to do, pray hard, and lead a good life, then everything that you ask from God, He will give to you. Wrong. Because if what you’re asking for is not for you, if it will only bring bad things to you, He won’t give it to you even if you beg and eat dirt. He loves us and looks out for us and if it’s bad for us, He’ll steer us away from it. In the other hand, if you need it, if it’s what’s best for you, He’ll give it to you without you asking. Yes, even a vacation house in the Bahamas.
- God can do everything. God cannot do everything. He cannot Lie. Hebrew 6:18 - “That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie . . .” and Titus 1:2— “In hope of eternal life, which God that cannot lie, promised before the world began.”
I have read many articles saying that this is blasphemy, “He is the Almighty God, how is it possible that there is something that he cannot do?” Simple. The Bible said so, that’s why. If you’re a believer then surely you believe in the Bible. “Nah, the Bible is just written by some really weird guy who wants money during the 93892839892 BC.” Well, I can do nothing about proving my point any more then.
Have you ever thought about it, really? Every translation of the Bible states this and yet many still refuse to accept it. They say that it is NOT impossible for God to lie. If he wants to lie, He can. It’s just that He doesn’t want to lie. He’s the Almighty God! But “it’s impossible” is different from “it’s possible” and “He cannot” is different from “He won’t”.
And if all else fails, I’d rather have a God that can do everything except to lie rather than a God that can do everything including telling lies. Why? At least I’m reassured that all the things He have said are true and that His promises are real.
Let’s say you have been behaved all your life. You donated to the poor, prayed everyday and basically just lead a good life. And when you were about to enter heaven and reap your rewards God says, “Sorry, access denied.” You stand before him, not believing your ears, “But God, I was a good person. I did everything you said. How come I cannot enter?” God will then answer you, “Well, that time I said those promises about being able to enter heaven and stuff? I didn’t really mean those. I lied!”
Yup, I’d prefer a God that cannot lie.

UPSTART BLOGGER
I have been recently surfing sites for free Wordpress themes and have come across a really great source. The themes are really great looking and I have downloaded all. I will probably be using those in the next few months. Maybe weeks, as I’m very fickle. I’m totally trying to use this one theme he said is really hard to adapt for your site. And he might reward you if you use it. I’m willing to do almost anything to earn money for a new computer so I’m looking into that.
I’m learning how to code my own themes though, so hopefully, I’ll get to putting up my own in the future.
DREAMHOST
I’m basically trying to tell anyone I know to signup with Dreamhost since I’ll get money off of it if they did. Upstart Blogger has branded them as a “sucky” host though. I have read his tale and feel sorry for him and how his experience with Dreamhost was far from good. I, on the other hand, am happy with Dreamhost. Because of their 10th year giveaway, I was able to get one year hosting with free domain for only $9.30 which is the only amount that my Dad is willing to pay for my 18th birthday gift. Cheap, I know. But we’re poor like that. I don’t really need much Bandwidth so now problems for now. Plus, my site really isn’t that important to be bothered with downtimes, unlike Upstart Blogger. So yep, Dreamhost is still “It”.
FREEZING HOT
Freezing Hot, an Internet marketing company specializing in small business seo and ppc management, is running a contest and giving away a search engine optimization package worth $400 to the winner. Check out the contest on their internet marketing blog and subscribe to the RSS feed. And be sure to check out Contest Blogger, the number one source for prizes and free samples.
$6 CLOSER?
Upstart Blogger is offering $6.95 cash if you link back to him and you get randomly picked. dang! $6.95 is not much but it is money. And I need money to buy a new computer. Really.

WISH: New Computer
STATUS: Pending
Possibility: DUGHJSASKAS
I totally hate my computer right now. I can’t even use it when I want to since my dad bought it off his friend (who can’t even build a decent computer). So since it’s not mine, I need to follow rules. I’m already 18. DUGH.
I don’t know… should I continue college? I really need money right now so maybe I should work first then attend college?
Money money money.
Damn it.
I really need money. WAGH.
I never knew that I would need it this bad. I mean, I never cared about money. Now I save every penny to buy a new computer.
$1300… seems so far away. Since I only currently have about $12.
Dang it.
Photoshop to do my sister’s project, Burning for my business, Movie Maker for my business… The computer can’t handle any of them. How will I earn money when all the means I know won’t work cause this effing computer is too low class?
Never should have trusted my Dad to buy things. Well, except when he bought me my domain and paid for one year of its hosting.
